Dental Bonding for Cracks, Chips & Worn Out Teeth
Bonding can fill in cracks, chips, and worn out areas of your teeth, restoring your beautiful smile and giving you a healthy looking smile. Bonding is a very popular procedure that is used to conceal imperfections and give you a beautiful smile. Bonding is a simple procedure that takes a short period of time.
Anesthesia when bonding is often not necessary unless we are filling a decayed tooth, changing the shape of the tooth, or the tooth defect is near the nerve.
Dr. Maya uses a tooth shade guide to select a color that will closely match the color of your surrounding teeth.
During the procedure, a bonding material is applied, molded, and smoothed to the desired shape. A laser is used to harden the bonding material. After the material is hardened, Dr. Maya will further trim, shape and polish it to match the rest of the tooth surface.
Dental bonding requires about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth to complete.
